“ A great pub near the water. We went twice in as many days. Once for lunch, which was good, and the next Saturday morning for breakfast which was wonderful. The cinnamon rolls were out of this world, though gave a sugar rush for hours. Where the place shines though is the service. Super friendly, responsive and attentive. Highly recommend you stop by. ”
“ We held a Celebration of Life at O'Donaghues for a good Pal. In planning this, it was a pleasure to work with the owners who were most accommodating and gave excellent suggestions for food options. The venue we had was upstairs and it was perfect. The ambiance of the pub is amazing and for my Pal, it was a spot on setting. We showed up in force and thirsty(over 40) and the Pub staff were well prepared and served us as quickly as they could. They were polite and patient. The food was outstanding and the sendoff was what my Pal deserved. We had one little glitch with the wi-fi but the staff (and owner) were quick to jump in lend a hand to get it sorted. I cannot recommend O'Donaghue's enough. They are rockstars in events such as this and if you're coming for a pint and or a meal. Thanks to all at O'Donaghue's. ”
“ A festive ambiance on Saturday. Super tasty dishes. We were 5 adults and 5 children under 7 years old. The service was perfect by a Russian student who spoke French and English very well. The building has a Victorian feel to it like if we were back in time. And the prices were absolutely affordable. No reasons to go to a fast-food when you have a pub like this in your town. ”
“ Feb 2025 update: still the best fish and chips in my opinion, had it to go in the freezing cold and it was still burn my mouth hot when I got home 2 orders and it was literally an entire haddock, each meal was a huge half fish, phenomenally tasty! Best fish and chips in town hands down and the O'Don's burger was the best burger I've had in many years. My fiance got the fish so I had to steal some, she had regular fries and I upgraded to sweet potato, everything was perfect. Great prices too! Huge shoutout to not only our server, Maya, who was very attentive, polite and professional but also to whom I can only assume was the owner for checking on us when Maya was swamped during their very busy dinner service. The pride of everyone here truly shines through their efforts and I'm excited to eventually try all of their food now that I live in the area.
